Welcome to Camp Nathanael!

Dedicated to building men to win and train boys for Christ

Camp Nathanael is an independent Christian boys' camp affiliated with the Christian Service Brigade ministry. Our camp seeks to glorify God by building men to win and train boys for Christ, an objective reflected in strong evangelism, discipleship and leadership training elements.

Among the distinctives that set Nathanael apart from other Christian camps are:

  1. A ministry oriented to the individual by virtue of a very low camper-to-counselor ratio;
  2. A setting geared to reach a boy's heart through games, crafts, activities, songs and stories; and
  3. A program dedicated to the development of strong Christian leadership to college- and teen-age men.

How Can I Help?

Work and Fellowship Days
Camp Nathanael also needs individuals that are willing to dedicate a day, weekend, or week to carry out our mission for God's glory. Please consider planning to help during one or more of the "work days" for Camp Nathanael:

Camp Work & Fellowship Dates
(For guys and gals of all Ages!)
April 5, 19
May 3, 17, 31
June 7

Please contact Jim Schroeder at (612) 685-4448 or Doug Hoglund at (952) 891-1680 to sign up for any of the above dates. Lunch and hot beverages will be provided.

Layman
A layman is an adult counselor who comes up to camp for a week and stays in a cabin with a group of boys. As a layman you would participate in cabin period, help lead Bible Exloration, assist in teaching one of our crafts and be a positive role model for the boys. You will be partnered with a trained non-com in the cabin. If you would like more info please contact Camp Director, Gary Maloney.

Freshman Workcrew
If you will be entering 9th grade or above this fall, you can be a part of the "freshman workcrew"for a week. These guys come up to camp free, but work hard on the grounds and kitchen crews. It's a great chance to see what being a camp counselor is like while helping Nathanael. If you would like more info please check the box located on the registration card or contact Camp Director, Gary Maloney.

Non-Com
If you are entering 10th or 11th grade you could apply to become a non-com. These guys are the Camp Nathanael backbone during the summer months. They are our primary counselors and lifeguards. They lead cabins, crafts, games, Bible Ex, skits, songs, and much much more. Non-coms raise support to cover the costs of training, and are at Camp all summer. If you are interested contact Camp Director, Gary Maloney.
