What is Camp Nathanael?

Opened in 1962, Nathanael is an independent, non-profit camp dedicated to the spiritual, physical and social training of boys and young men. It is financed through camper fees and interested individuals, but is not subsidized by any church denomination.

Our Mission Statement

Camp Nathanael is a special place for boys to:

• learn more about Jesus Christ, study God's Word, and walk closer with Him;
• develop Christian leaders of tomorrow;
• build relationships with one another;
• have opportunities to develop natural abilities, try new things, and apply what they learn; and
• enjoy, understand, and be comfortable in the outdoors.

Indeed, Camp Nathanael exists to show God's love to the campers through the leader's lives and through exploring God's beautiful earth. Our camp is open to all boys -- they don't have to be members of a Brigade group or a particular church. We encourage you to browse through this site and learn more about us.

Where is Camp Nathanael?

Camp Nathanael is located 16 miles east of Hinckley, MN, on Highway 48. The entrance to the camp is about one mile east of the St. Croix State Park entrance. Look for the "Nathanael" sign on the north side of the road.
